pink & green
I don’t want you to think I’m going to neglect Hey Lucy, just because I have another blog. I made a lot of things in December, so I’ll tell you all about them this month. I decided to do a little quilting, and made a log cabin pillow with some of my favorite shades of pink & green.
It was part of my annual Christmas swap with Yvonne of Yvestown (I am a lucky duck, we’ve been doing this swap for four years now? or is it five?). Yvonne is a super good swapper, so I wanted to make sure I sent something worthy of her beautiful home.
It is gorgeous. The hand stitching looks great.
What a lucky girl she is, it is really rather lovely.
This is an exciting pillow. It just makes me happy just looking at a picture of it…
So many log cabin pillows are done in that awful brown calico w/ dark red accents but this pillow ROCKS!!!
Thanks! You can't really go wrong with pink and green, right? :o)
Very pretty indeed!
Mission accomplished – you definitely get a gold medal for this swap…love the colors and the patterns!
