I found a not-too-out-of-the-way farmer's market on my drive home Wednesday. I love fresh peas, don't you? I'm going to steam these and eat them with a tiny bit of butter and salt. Do you have any good pea recipes?
Beautiful photographs of your peas. When they’re fresh from the farmer’s market, I think that sounds wonderfully simple and delicious, just butter and salt. 🙂
Mr. HeyLucy pointed out that very same recipe to me this weekend! I was
thinking I’d try it with queso fresco, since that’s so much easier to find
than paneer around here. Great minds you two have :o)
Yum. My favorite is straight out of the pod, raw. Enjoy!

Love the dishes, too btw. Cute chicken.
I made these ages ago and they were pretty nice:

🙂
Dear Julia Child recommends mint and I have to agree. There must be a reason the mint and the peas come up at the same time!
I made this the other day and it was fabulous. One of those things I couldn’t stop eating. I used queso fresco.

Those do look good. Coincidentally, my husband pointed out this recipe on
the same site:

and then someone else left a comment about the same recipe. I think I’ll
need to get some more peas and make both versions.
