whoa dude
I haven’t gotten my copy yet, but thanks to eagle-eyed Belinda, who saw a copy on Sooz’s blog, it looks like Softies is coming very very soon. Do you see that? Wow, my little monster is on the cover! I did not expect that at all. Not only that, look how cute the other softies are? Now I really can’t wait to get my copy. I’m really really excited now. I can’t even type any more, I’m all woozy.
It is super cool!!
ooh they’re all lovely. i can’t wait either….will these be sold in bookstores – or is this something we’ll have to order from online?
Cool!!!! I’ll bet you are thrilled!
Dude. whoa.

Ooooohhh hi there – isn’t it cool? I’m on the cover too!!! (The knitted bunny)
SO, so exiting ;o)
It is such a great book and what a great cover shot!
I have to say what a wonderful wonderful book, and your little monster is so so cute. I will be making a few of these I think for birthday pressies for my nephews, whom I am sure will love them just as much as I do. I only received my copy this morning and it is just fabulous. Congratulations!
I was visiting the Melbourne Penguin office and saw it on prominent display in the foyer. I’m looking forward to having a play with it.
I just bought the book and while I haven’t had a chance to make anything out of it I’m in an absolute frenzy to get started – but where?! I want to make your monster but I foolishly promised my toddler the first softie. She wants either the donkey or the kangaroo but can’t make up her mind. Maybe if she takes long enough I can sneak in a monster first. She loves the idea of it though, because our cat is called Lucy. 🙂 There are definitely a few babies-on-the-way who will be getting their own little monsters in the coming months.
